Before joining Pyrophobic John led the Marketing and Sales efforts of organizations providing leading edge technologies to the Petrochemical, Refining, Pulp/ Paper and Transportation industries. John’s background in material science and metallurgy and experience launching disruptive technologies provides a solid footing to help Pyrophobic efforts to continue to develop Intuplas and Bernograph Nanocomposites into a leading fire stop technology for the myriad of applications to which the technology is currently and may applied.
Tim Riley, MBA
Technical Sales Engineer, U.S. Markets
With over 25 years experience in the life safety materials industry, as the Technical Sales and Marketing Engineer for US Markets, Tim Riley delivers an in depth marketing strategy and oversees direction for developing sales of a unique and patented technology of intumescent thermal resistant thermoplastic materials for PyroPhobic Systems, Ltd. Tim is experienced in developing meaningful, long term business relationships to develop new fire resistant products. Tim actively listens to analyze each company’s needs and follows through which has resulted in value added solutions.
Igor Zhvanetskiy, PhD
Lead Labratory Technician
Igor has PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from Chemical University in Moscow and 28 years of combined experience in Canada, Russia and Israel as Project, R&D Engineer, Chemist, Formulator and Regulatory Compliance Specialist. He is author of 2 patents and one patent application and 8 articles. His major area is in polymer chemistry and he has been formulated plastics, adhesives and coating for 15 years. He is also specializing in Regulatory Compliance and on Health Canada list of consultants. He is Chartered Chemist of Ontario and member of Chemical Institute of Canada. He works for Pyrophobic since 2008 formulating intumescent flame retardant thermoplastics.
